:)Hey all, just wanted to get the ball rolling. Hopefully everybody will join in and have some civil and informative discussions on this board. Hopefully this board will not become what so many of the others have . My name is Jessica and I live in the Great State of Texas. I currently raise Dachshunds and have just committed to a cute little Harlequin Pinscher from Run-N-Ridge. I think Harlies are cute and have wanted one for a very long time but I had to convince my better half that I deserved one . I've been a very good girl and sold my first litter of Pups that actually made a profit which led to me being able to get a new pup.

Hi Jessica! Nice to meet you! I agree, I hope this board would be informative and not a dead one. See your post around Jessica. I'm Nichole and I have a Rat Terrier named Rattie by the way.

Hi my name is Amy and own a lab/retriever mix named Ginnybean 14yrs. A toy poodle named Petie 5yrs and my newest addition is a toy dark merle schnauzer named Ralphie 3 1/2 months. I did pet therapy with Ginnybean for several years and now she is retired. I picked my toy merle for his sweet temperment and his willingness to please to become my next therapy dog. I grew up with miniture schnauzers my whole life and wanted to return to the bred. When I went looking for my next therapy dog I happened upon the toy schnauzer and could not resist owing one. I originally wanted a purebred but saw the merle coat and fell in love. Ralphie ended up being my choice. He is cream and choclotate with a red nose and golden eyes. He is just beautiful. I wish I could afford paying for his breding rights but I cant so I had to buy him and agree to neuter. His sweet temperment and gorgeous merle coat would be ideal I think to bred him but alas it is not meant to be. I'll happily settle for just owning this sweet little guy. I am very interested in learning more on the toy merle schauzer and any clubs or groups that may be out there for the bred. Any information would be much appreciated. I plan to do agility with him as well as he is a natural little jumper who loves to fetch and play. Thanks so much for this forum. Amy
